Nutelleon: recipe for World Nutella Day

My dad and I decided to take part in celebrating the World Nutella Day and invented a new dish – Nutelleon. You can visit these sites if interested in the World Nutella Day:Ms Adventures in Italy, Bleeding Espresso, World Nutella Day.

Nutelleon is two words combined: Nutella and Napoleon. The recipe is based on puff pastry layered with Nutella. We topped it with pistaccios. Emerald green pistaccios look really pretty on chocolate.

In many sweets recipes you'll be advised to take non-salted nuts. We took salted pistaccios on purpose as once we tried a salted chocolate from Paris. So we decided to try this original combination.

2 puff pastry chortcakes
1 Nutella jar
100 g of pistaccios

1. Cut the puff pastry shortbread into 6 pieces

2. Place into the oven at 200 C for 10-12 minutes
3. Peel and finely chop the pistaccios

4. Take the puff pastry out of the oven and let it cool

5. Cover two pieces with Nutella

6. Place one on top of the other
7. Top with pistaccios

8. Have it J
